All in the family: A group conversation exploring parenting between Cultures with activist La Bonita Chola, curator Teresa Cisneros, and artist Aya O'Haidar
Inspired by the artworks and themes of the Navigating Proximities exhibition we are making time and creating space to think about the people raising children between cultures
Join us in this informal group conversation exploring how we parent children whose cultures sit between two or more? As parents what future do we imagine for our children? What does it mean for your child to grow up with a different set of privileges than your own? Everyone is welcome to come and share their own experiences!
This event is followed by a sci-fi inspired collage making workshop for children of all ages
